I am a PhD student in French. My love for fine literature inspired me to start this blog. I value both adult and children’s literature. Therefore, in addition to reading adult literature, I am currently reading through the list of Newbery Award winning books.
Exploring Literature explores literary classics from around the world.
Hi! I’ve nominated you for the Liebster Award. I really enjoy your blog and your reviews. For more information about the award, see: http://wp.me/p3YPpH-eY
Hey!
I love your blog and so I’ve nominated it for the Liebster Blog Award. I see you’ve already been nominated, so if you would rather not go through the process again then that’s cool, I just wanted to let you know that I think your blog is great. 🙂
You can find all the details in my post at http://driftingpages.wordpress.com/2014/04/25/the-liebster-blog-award/

Thank you for the nomination but I will pass on the award this time. If you are interested to read my responses to the questions I was asked by the last blogger who nominated me, you can go here: http://exploringclassics.wordpress.com/2014/03/16/liebster-award/ Thanks again for the nomination.
You’re welcome, I understand not wanting to do it again. 🙂
Hi! I just discovered your blog. I was a French major a gazillion years ago, so it’s nice to find a kindred spirit. I’m very impressed that you are double-majoring in such different fields!
Have you visited France yet?
Welcome and thank you for visiting! I have never traveled to France although I did visit Montreal for a few days two years ago. I would like to visit France someday but not in the context of a study abroad program.
Majoring in very different fields has been a really great experience. I think it is important for people to try to strengthen both sides of their brain. Majoring in the sciences and in the humanities helped me do that, but this is of course an ongoing process. I think that studying a subject as a hobby (not at a university for example) is equally worthwhile.
Lovely blog! I am interested to see some of your upcoming reviews as I too, plan to read Balzac and Jules Verne in the original in the near future. 🙂 I’m currently working on Le Grand Meaulnes. Have you read it? Best wishes!
Thank You! I have read Le Grand Meaulnes. It is a lovely work. A great coming-of-age story 🙂
Hi Fariba, I’ve nominated you and your blog for the Premio Dardos Award: http://100greatestnovelsofalltimequest.blogspot.com/2015/07/premio-dardos-award.html
